Publication of mobility grants lists

Mobility grants have been awarded by the Scientific Committee in accordance with the quality of those papers presented. They include transportation from the country of origin until Algeciras, accommodation and full board during the stay at Algeciras, as well as a travel and health insurance.

Registration Period Now

The registration period for the Euromediterranean Scientific Congress on Engineering, to be held in Algeciras on May 19th and 20th, is open from April 14th.

Registration is free of charge, and entitles to participate in the Meeting Room available throughout the Congress

Notification of acceptance by the Scientific Committee

Once the abstracts have been reviewed by the EMSCE2011 Scientific Committee as a first step, we proceed now to notifying acceptance and providing participants with their reference number corresponding to the topic.

Below, a file can be downloaded with a list of accepted papers in the review, those papers that require a second review and those that have not been accepted.

Soon, an option shall be enabled on the website for authors to present their papers until March 31, 2011. For the final acceptance of the papers, it is imperative to follow the format of the template that will be available on the web page. Any changes or modifications regarding the proposed format will not be allowed by the Organizing Committee, automatically rejecting the paper, and considering it therefore excluded from the Congress.

After the first phase, the organizing committee will publish the second phase of the review, which will present those papers selected for oral presentation and poster format during the Congress.

The Scientific Committee welcomes the participation of all researches, congratulates those whose papers have been accepted and expects, in the near future, to be able to count on the participation of those researchers whose papers could not be accepted this time because the topics tackled did not correspond to the main research lines of the Congress.

EMSCE 2011: Call for papers balance

Deadline for submitting abstracts for the Euromediterranean Scientific Congress on Engineering finished last January 15th. The Congress will be held in Algeciras from the 19th to the 20th of May 2011.

The number and origin of the abstracts received show that EMSCE 2011 will widely achieve its objectives.

In total, 182 abstracts have been received from Algeria, Colombia, Cuba, Spain, Morocco, Portugal and Tunis. Topics more tackled are related to Information and Communication Technologies and Renewable Energies, counting 31% each, followed by Water Resources topics, counting 29%. Less abstracts have concentrated on the topic regarding Transport and Co-modality, gathering 10% participation. imagen_web

With regards to countries, most abstracts have been presented from Morocco, 71 in total, basically related to Water Resources and Information and Communication Technologies. The second country in terms of participation has been Spain, having sent 66 presentations. In this case, the majority of the topics are related to Clean Energies, although there are a significant number of abstracts related to Water Resources. Other countries that have sent an important number of abstracts are Algeria with 23 and Tunis with 17 abstracts. In both cases topics are related to Energies and Water Resources.

Extended deadline for abstract submission for EMSCE 2011

The Organizing Committee of the EuroMediterranean Scientific Congress on Engineering, EMSCE 2011 has extended deadline for abstracts submission till January 15, 2011.
